How long have you been in business?
KeyString has operated as a duo since June 2008. Separately, however, both Rebecca and Mauro
have had many years experience working in the entertainment & wedding performance industry and are
experienced at working in all venue types.
Are we able to request a song/s not listed in KeyString’s repertoire?
- Weddings - As many couples have a ‘special’ song that holds great significance for them, KeyString offers, as part of its reception and ceremony packages, the option to submit two songs not already in our repertoire. Further to this offer extra non-repertoire songs may be requested at a pro-rata rate.
- Birthday Parties - KeyString offers as part of its birthday package the option to submit one song not already in our repertoire. Further to this offer extra non-repertoire songs may be requested at a pro-rata rate.
- Corporate Events - non-repertoire songs may be requested at a pro-rata rate.
Does KeyString require a deposit for confirmation of our booking?
KeyString requires a 30% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of booking. Please see our
booking form for details regarding this.
Will KeyString provide extended entertainment time if it is unexpectedly required on the day?
KeyString is able to provide, if required, extended entertainment on your special day. Our fee for this
is $300 per extra hour.
How much time does KeyString allow/require for set up of equipment?
KeyString will arrive in sufficient time to be completely set up prior to the arrival of your guests.
With this in mind, KeyString requires good vehicle accessibility at the event location. If you have any
concerns or requests regarding our set up please do not hesitate to contact us.
Does KeyString require meals/parking?
KeyString requires good vehicle accessibility for set up due to heavy sound equipment. We are
more than happy to move the car after set up to allow for room for your guests. KeyString appreciates a
standard entertainment meal (for weddings only) to be served during a set break.
Do you offer a free consultation prior to the function?
KeyString is more than happy to assist you in any way we can to ensure your day is as stress free
as possible. We are contactable both by phone or email and if required we offer one face to face
consultation prior to your booking to discuss any questions you may have.
What type of sound system do you have?
KeyString’s modern sound equipment comprises a Yamaha EMX amplification & mixer, high quality
Fender ACE15 speakers, a DB powered sub woofer & a compact lighting system. This enables KeyString
the versatility to provide both tasteful, relaxed background music and the power to service a large room
for dance & rock tunes.
